Spear of Grass

So, that's why it's called a "spear" of grass?!

This young blade of grass had no problem poking its way through an old oak leaf rather than growing around it.

I like being out taking pictures in all of Wisconsin's seasons - each month has it's own beauty to share.

Well, ok - that bit of time between snowmelt and everything greening up can offer some challenges. But, the wonder and beauty of nature are still there; a little looking around can be quite rewarding!
