WELCOME TO CLOSER VIEWS - my photo invitation to slow down and soak in all the wonder and beauty woven through creation! May what you see ~ in my pictures and all around you ~ renew and inspire you!
Photography is integral to how I relate to the world, a taproot reaching to still waters running deep. It is a sharing of the wonder and beauty of creation, a celebration of God abiding with us in our daily lives.
To me, the beautiful little things spread about our feet, which we so often overlook, are personal gifts from a loving God ~ breadcrumbs that guide us back to Him.
As with any art form, photography is a way to share the beauty we experience ~ and the truths that beauty teaches us. Even though we may not see it, we are each works of exceptional beauty, reflecting the God who created us in His own image. As such, we each have an inestimable ~ and eternal ~ value, which we also often overlook in ourselves and others.
So speaks to me the things so often passed by. Hopefully, they'll say something of value to you, too, when you next take the time to visit with them.
