WELCOME TO CLOSER VIEWS - my photo invitation to slow down and soak in all the wonder and beauty woven throughout creation. May what you see ~ in my pictures and all around you ~ renew and inspire you!
Photography is an integral part of how I relate to the world. It allows me to share the wonder and beauty of creation, to celebrate God abiding with us in our daily lives; a taproot reaching still waters flowing deep below any daily turmoil.
To me, the beautiful little things spread about our feet, which we so often overlook, are personal gifts from a loving God ~ His Word, spoken in creation; breadcrumbs that guide us back to Him.
As with any art form, photography is a way to share the beauty we experience ~ and the truths that beauty teaches us. Even though we may not see it, we are each works of exceptional beauty, reflecting the God who created us in His own image. As such, we each have an inestimable ~ and eternal ~ value, which we also often overlook in ourselves and others.
So speaks to me the things so often passed by. Hopefully, they'll say something of value to you, too, when you next take the time to visit with them.
