The visual contrasts within this image sparked my imagination - warm/cool and soft/sharp.

Warm/cool from the warm light of an early morning sun washing over the sparkling snow, contrasted with the cold blues from a cloudless sky which fills the shadows. And soft/sharp from the soft, graceful contours of the wind-swept snowdrift against the sharp, side-lit textures of the small snow crystals.
